About the Wedding
Kayla & Ari had an intimate late fall wedding at Blue Hill. The decor featured an autumn color pallet with hues of gold, orange, red, and green. From the Couple: "Our initial plan was a destination New Orleans wedding with our friends and family, a second-line parade and endless beignets. When COVID hit, our guests’ health and safety was our first priority so we postponed the big celebration to November 21, 2021. After a year of ups-and-downs, we were ready to focus on the marriage and less on the wedding. We decided to hold an intimate civil ceremony at Blue Hill at Stone Barns with just a handful of family. Even with just a few small family members in attendance and the rest on Zoom, the evening was magical. We were married by my sister, Danielle who pulled from intimate moments of our lives and heard loving speeches from our parents and Ari’s brother. The night ended with a surprise performance by my sister, Danielle and Ari’s brother Jake playing what would have been our first dance song, “Never in My Wildest Dreams” by Dan Auerbach." -Kayla & Ari
